The award is for the Xero accounting partner who used Xero to offer the best value added services to their clients, and showed innovation in client services over the past year.

From refreshing our brand, launching a new website and increasingly focusing on helping our clients add value to their business, it’s pleasing to know our aim to provide innovative business advice and accounting services are up there with some of the best.

WK was also awarded the New Zealand Xero Partner of the Year Award in 2013, and WK director Neil Sinclair picked up the Xero Most Valuable Person Award in 2014.

Xero founder and CEO Rod Drury gave a huge congratulations to the WK team.

“WK have gone from strength to strength over the many years we have worked together,” Rod says. “One of our top supporters over the years, the team at WK make it all about their clients’ needs, the services they are now delivering to them are phenomenal and we’re all very proud to watch them evolve into the regional powerhouse they’ve become.”

WK director Neil Sinclair says it was pleasing for the team to be recognised as Xero Partner of the Year again.

“Being at the top of the Xero world for nearly five years now hasn’t been easy, and our team deserves full credit for embracing the changes and their commitment to our strategy,” Neil says.

“Since switching to the cloud-based accounting software Xero in 2012, we’ve made an ongoing effort to embrace disruptive innovations and adapt our business and our clients’ businesses to keep up with the fast-changing business world.

“It is reassuring to know significant stakeholders like Xero can see our strategy working, and it is exciting to assist our clients nail their business objectives.”

Next week, we’ll find out how we stack up against our peers from New Zealand, Australia and Asia, when the overall winners are announced at the annual Xero conference, Xerocon South in Brisbane.
