Hilary Hickling is a Senior Advisor at WK. She has a Bachelor of Theology (BTheol) from Carey Baptist College and a Diploma for Graduates in Finance (DipGrad Fin.) from the University of Otago.
Hilary grew up in the Marlborough Sounds as a third-generation local and returned to the area in 2022 after a decade in Dunedin. Now raising her own family in the same bay, Hilary enjoys the rural lifestyle, where the sea and bush provide the perfect setting to raise her children, surrounded by a tight-knit community.
Hilary has a background in the performing arts, having been involved with the Marlborough Children’s and Youth Theatre (MCY) for ten years under Duncan Whiting’s direction. She performed in numerous productions with the Blenheim Musical Theatre and was a member of the NZ Secondary Students Choir. Her love for Shakespeare took her to London, where she studied and performed at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre as part of the Young Shakespeare Company NZ.
