As proud Legends sponsors of the Tasman Makos and Marlborough rugby, we’ll be there in full voice, cheering on our team.
WK’s involvement with Marlborough rugby goes back a few decades. Current directors Craig Forsyth, Matt Kerr and Vaughan Harris have had an almost life-long long association with the Harlequins Club as players, coaches and supporters, as has associate Greg Newman, while Hamish MacDonald has been involved with the Renwick Club.
WK supports many local sporting and cultural organisations, including rugby, because contributing to and being involved in our local community is hugely important, Vaughan says.
“We’re not just about supporting our local businesses – connecting with our community across a range of initiatives is really important to us,” he says.
“It’s actually captured in our mission statement which is about achieving success for our clients, staff and community.”
“It’s more than just being a good ‘corporate citizen’, it’s about making a real difference in areas and projects that as individuals, we have a real passion for.”
If you’re heading to the Makos’ game this Sunday August 21, pop in to the WK hospitality marquee before and during the game, and say hi. We’ll be there from 3pm onwards.
Game kicks off at 4.35pm, get your tickets here.
