WK is thrilled to announce our new service; WKIQ.
WKIQ was established in late 2018 to provide clients and the wider community with the tools and knowledge they need to run a successful business.
WK Manager Lisa Mortensen, who spearheaded the initiative, says the WKIQ concept has grown out of the recognition that WK clients are looking to gain a deeper understanding of, as well as more control over the financial side of their own business.
“Due to the complex nature of business in 2019, faster decision making is now required with businesses needing a diverse range of skills to ensure success,” Lisa says.
WKIQ has been designed to provide businesspeople with the skills, confidence and understanding they need to make crucial business decisions in a timely manner.
Workshops offered will provide practical insights into running a business in addition to covering the use of business software, including Xero and industry-specific software such as Figured (Rural) and Vintrace (Winery).
WKIQ also offers specialist workshops to upskill business owners and their employees in sales, marketing, business basics and tax.
A focus for WK in 2019 is to provide business owners with knowledge and efficiencies to grow their business and give them the confidence they need to be able to have conversations with their accountants, bank managers, and lawyers.
Workshops will be presented by WK Senior Advisors; trained and qualified industry experts with an in-depth and hands-on understanding of how to run a business and forecast future business needs.
They will be conducted in a relaxed and welcoming environment in our purpose-built training centre.
See the WKIQ website for more information, and to book your place in one of our upcoming courses.
